Kia ora (greetings) Hello from Aotearoa - land of the long white cloud - New Zealand.
Seeking spiritual-minded friends from around the world. I'm originally from the USA and moved to New Zealand to teach design after practicing as a designer at the National Zoological Park - Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
After a major illness I had to stop teaching full-time and now teach small community-based workshops in bookbinding and creative writing through an organization called Literacy Aotearoa. Also I am currently concentrating on painting, poetry, some personal music…and also enjoy being a street performer - taking magic to the streets (and the occassional birthday party gig)….I go by the name “Happy as Larry” urban shaman and magician. “Happy as Larry” is a colloquial term here in NZ.
I love synchronicity, spirituality of various kinds. I'm a dreamer and a lover of peace, kindness, gentleness.
My fondness for simplicity with depth is best exemplified by the enjoyment I get from reading the Tao Te Ching. I am a Quaker with hints of taosim, shamanism, kundalini, etc.
A major goal of mine is to get Lattétude® off the ground… it's a new concept in coffee and other beverage consumption:
